Berghotel Greifensteine in Ehrenfriedersdorf

The restaurant at the foot of the Greifensteine ​​is cozy and inviting, the service is very friendly and courteous and the kitchen is highly recommended. Gladly again!

There is always something more going on on Sunday ... Okay. But being so unfriendly and incompetent because of that is the first. After what feels like an eternity, the drinks and food are taken. Children's dish macaroni WITHOUT tomato sauce ... Instead a plastic bag of ketchup .... Broccoli medallions were frozen goods, a single medallion, a few parsley potatoes and a salad that was inedible by adding ready-made dressing, served by unfriendly, forgetful staff. How this house got three stars is very questionable! Definitely not recommended!

After a nice ascent from Ehrenfriedersdorf, we stopped here. We had pre-ordered and accordingly waited at the entrance to be seated - as is usual in the Corona period. Unfortunately, the service staff just ran past us without looking at us. When we had drawn attention to ourselves, we were quickly shown to our table, from here on the service improved considerably. Of course we decided on a game dish and really enjoyed it. Traditional Erzgebirge cuisine - very tasty! We will be happy to come back here, but then behave a little less cautiously, so that we are sure to be noticed.

We ate in a small group today and were very satisfied. Almost all of them had venison goulash or shredded venison and it tasted great. Price-performance ratio also absolutely okay ??

Even if everyone has to fight for their existence during this time, the quality of the food was bad for the price. The waitress was out and about without a face mask. Unfortunately we cannot give any recommendations.

Was very disappointed with the food. Brown, cooked peas as a vegetable side dish and a pork steak gratinated with seasoned meat, which was very bland. Just bad tourist food. What a shame

Rating refers to the restaurant. The selection of dishes was not particularly rich. We didn't miss any roast dishes on offer. Prices were ok and the portion was adequate. The waitress a gentleman was bored on the way you could tell and looked at him the reluctance. The great thing was the so-called “macaroni” children's menu, which for a mere € 4.50 consists of macaroni, sausage, cheese and a bag of ketchup! So we've never seen that in a restaurant, there's nothing like that at home and you should go out to eat for that. If it had been a sauce from the glass or something else, it couldn't be more lovable. I also think that the family goes out to eat and the child gets pasta with ketchup ... Yes, it won't die of it, but delicious is different. Because of this we will go to other restaurants where even our smallest get a dinner which deserves the title.

Food was great, but priced a bit too expensive for a beer garden ... service fast and friendly ... everything seemed a bit hectic ... the great environment makes up for it again.

My husband and I went to the Berghotel Greifensteine ​​for dinner in the beer garden Essen. The ambience alone with a view of the Greifenstein is worth the trip. Service and food as always great. Keep it up.

If I could, I would give zero stars. An absolutely inconsiderate gentleman of the staff messed up our entire stay. We were insulted and brought down to the lowest in a small dispute over the parking ticket. So I absolutely cannot recommend it. Never again!

Very nice hotel, super nice staff. The highlight was the breakfast, as could be some 4 or 5 star hotel something. Everything was very clean, we will be back.

A cozy, nice hotel in the middle of the forest. Absolute peace, fresh air and nice rooms. The Erzgebirge is sooo beautiful. From the Greifensteine ​​you can hike or explore the neighboring town by car. But ...... There is no internet!
